We work towards this by demonstrating how to improve learning outcomes and keeping communities and leaders focused on learning through assessment, research, innovations, partnerships and advocacy. For 10 years, we generated and disseminated independent assessment data, and contributed to amplifying the evidence of low learning outcomes and the fact that schooling does not equate to learning as a program under Twaweza East Africa . September Newsletter is loading… Latest Projects Schools2030 Human Centered Design Initiative Documentation Process In partnership with the Aga Khan Foundation, Uwezo Uganda undertook Phase 1 of the documentation process of the Schools2030 Initiatives with 12 stakeholders in Kampala and Arua. Phase 1 which is the ‘Problem Identification’ step in the process seeks to establish a first-hand understanding of human needs through educators, learners and other stakeholders. It is on this basis that through team collaboration that learning solutions shall be built. Partnership with Buganda Kingdom and Muteesa 1 Royal University Uwezo Uganda, in partnership with Buganda Kingdom and Muteesa 1 royal University, have conducted an assessment in four districts of Bukomansimbi, Mukono, Runkungiri and Kumi to track progress of teaching and/or learning progress for school going children during the Covid-19 school lockdown.
